Amendments to the Security & Related Activities Control Act 1996 will come into effect on Monday 12th ofDecember 2011. This amendment of complusory First Aid Certificates will need to be complied with by all security and crowd control staff. All security officers must forward their current First Aid Certificate to the commercial agent. The First Aid expiry date will now be shown on all security licenses. Security officers who do not comply will have their license suspended.
